Having nothing special to say about myself I will talk about the icon.

In my young years, as I was once enjoying a walk through a field after the rain, I suddenly found myself in the arm of a rainbow (that it was a rainbow I realized only later when I walked out of it). That was an unearthly experience – the air around me was filled with blazing diamonds playing in a perfect harmony!

Some years later when I came to Church and found my calling in icon- painting, I experienced a similar state of wonder from the beauty and harmony

of the image of God found or "discovered" by some icon painters. These icons are always recognized even though they are not rich in colour or considerably damaged.

It is such image that I seek to depict in my works.
